NESS WOODS is a visionary, critically acclaimed, and rising multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges writing, film, and photography. Ness’s creative practice spans screenwriting, poetry, and songwriting, alongside photography, cinematography, and film directing. A graduate of San Diego State University, Ness is especially drawn to short-form filmmaking as a space for bold experimentation, emotional resonance, and visually driven storytelling.
Ness Woods’ professional experience includes working on production sets in production assistant and audio roles, as well as contributing to music video productions. As a photographer, Ness has documented a wide range of cultural and creative events throughout San Diego, including Comic-Con, San Diego Pride, Supergirl Surf Fest, and the local live music scene. They have also worked as an event photographer for Future Leaders of Our Community (FLOC), served as a volunteer photographer for nonprofit organizations, and collaborated with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention as a photographer and general production assistant on film sets centered on survivor storytelling and community awareness.
